AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and beverage vendors prioritise providing fans with a diverse array of international and local culinary delights, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate.

The food costs around 1000-2000 yen (6-12 USD), water 250 yen (1,5 USD), and beer 500 yen (3-4 USD).

Please note that the payment can be made mostly in cash.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

In early April, when the Japanese Grand Prix takes place, Suzuka typically experiences pleasant spring weather. Daily temperatures usually range from around 7.9°C (46.2°F) at night to approximately 16.8°C (62.2°F) during the day. However, it's important to note that April in Suzuka can also be quite rainy, with an average precipitation of 31mm over approximately 10 days of the month

If you want up-to-date weather information, we recommend using the Windy app.
